I have been doing photography for a few years now, but I have taken it more seriously over the past two years. I enjoy all kinds of subjects in photography but my favourite subjects are portrait and creative photography. I also love doing self portraits, as it is great fun to dress up and not be myself.

Here on the left-hand side of this page is an example of one of my self portraits.

I also joined the King's Lynn camera club in September 2008, I enter in most of the in-house competitions which I am doing quite well in and is fun to participate. In April 2009 I was elected the first female Vice Chairperson which I was very pleased to accept.

I have also been in the ‘Digital Camera Magazine’ I have been in their December 2007 issue with an image of a leaf. I am also going into the ‘Digital Camera Magazine’ again this coming April 2009 with a two-page spread on techniques of how I took the image which they are publishing.

I also entered a Fujifilm online competition for February 2009 the theme was bright side, there were 1642 entries and I received 1st place and won the top prize with this image:- ‘Circle of Light’
